Vehicle Shipment Card

This document was amongst Lester Denbrook's belongings discovered long after his death. It is believed to be for the Jeep that he drove off the landing craft when he landed at Utah Beach on D-Day+2. He used to tell the story that the landing craft stopped too far off shore and when he drove off, the Jeep sunk to the bottom and he had to leave it there and swim to shore.
